What’s New in the 2024 Kia Carnival?
Seating For a Party of Eight
Kia markets its spacious and well-equipped 2024 Carnival as an MPV (multipurpose vehicle) rather than a minivan, and the name fits. The 2024 Kia Carnival has it all – a roomy interior, an affordable price, and the modern Kia styling. With a ride that feels more like an SUV, the 2024 Carnival has room for up to eight passengers with plenty of entertainment tech and safety features. You can experience the 2024 Carnival at Kia of Clermont near Winter Garden, FL.
Attractive, Comfortable, and SUV-Inspired
The 2024 Kia Carnival picks up where the 2023 model left off with a few subtle changes involving the power windows in the EX trim. Otherwise, the roomy MPV comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, and 290 horsepower. The powertrain delivers an EPA-estimated 19/26 fuel rating – which is decent for a vehicle of its size.
The attractive SUV has a plethora of space for passengers and cargo. With the third row upright, the 2024 Kia Carnival interior has 40.3 cubic feet of space, while the space increases to 86.9 cubic feet with the third row down and 145.1 cubic feet with the second row down. The third row seats fold flat, while the second-row bench seats slide and fold independently. Kia made the second-row seats removable for added versatility.
Four Well-Equipped Trim Levels
Kia offers the 2024 model-year Carnival in four trim levels starting with the LX trim. It includes cloth upholstery and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, seven USB ports, and a six-speaker audio system. Drivers can add a rear-seat entertainment system to every trim. The driver-assistive features include Forward Collision Avoidance, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Driver-Attention Alert, Lane-Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Parking Sensors, a Rearview Camera, and Automatic High-Beam Headlights.
The mid-level EX trim has standard seating for eight, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen with navigation. Additional infotainment features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless device charging, HD Radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and eight speakers. This trim also includes a Rear Passenger-View Camera, an In-Vehicle Intercom, Adaptive Cruise Control with Highway Driving Assist, Front Parking Sensors, and a Hands-Free Power Liftgate.
The SX and SX Prestige trim have more exterior styling features like roof rails, LED fog lights, and premium alloy wheels. The interior features include ventilated front seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel, and two household-style power outlets. The SX Prestige adds genuine leather seats, ambient lighting, dual sunroofs, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. The additional driver-assistive features include Reverse Collision Warning, Low-Speed Reverse Automatic Braking, a Blind-Spot Camera Monitor, and a Surround-View Parking Camera System.
